कल्पयित्वाऽऽत्मना यावदाभासमिदमीश्वरः । द्वैतं तावन्न विरमेत्ततो ह्यस्य विपर्ययः ।। ७-१२-१० ।।

sanskrit

As long as a living entity is not completely self-realized — as long as he is not independent of the misconception of identifying with his body, which is nothing but a reflection of the original body and senses — he cannot be relieved of the conception of duality, which is epitomized by the duality between man and woman. Thus there is every chance that he will fall down because his intelligence is bewildered. ।। 7-12-10 ।।

english translation

जब तक जीव पूर्णरूपेण स्वरूपसिद्ध नहीं है—जब तक वह देहात्मबुद्धि की भ्रान्त धारणा से मुक्त नहीं हो लेता जो कि मूल शरीर तथा इन्द्रियों का प्रतिबिम्ब मात्र है तब तक वह उस द्वैत भाव से छुटकारा नहीं पा सकता जो स्त्री तथा पुरुष के मध्य द्वैत का सूचक है। इस तरह हर इसकी हर सम्भावना रहती है कि वह नीचे गिर जाए, क्योंकि उसकी बुद्धि मोहित होती है। ।। ७-१२-१० ।।
