विमुच्य तमिमं बन्धमविद्याकामकर्मजम् । सर्वभूतसुहृच्छान्तो मैत्रः करुण आत्मवान् ।। ६-२-३६ ।।
Because of identifying oneself with the body, one is subjected to desires for sense gratification, and thus one engages in many different types of pious and impious action. This is what constitutes material bondage. Now I shall disentangle myself from my material bondage, which has been caused by the Supreme Personality of Godhead’s illusory energy in the form of a woman. ।। 6-2-36 ।।

शरीर से अपनी पहचान बनाने के कारण मनुष्य इन्द्रियतृप्ति के लिए इच्छाओं के अधीन होता है और इस तरह वह अपने को अनेक प्रकार के पवित्र तथा अपवित्र कार्यों में लगाता है। यही भौतिक बन्धन है। अब मैं अपने आपको उस भौतिक बन्धन से छुड़ाऊँगा जो स्त्री के रूप में पूर्ण पुरुषोत्तम भगवान् की मोहिनी शक्ति द्वारा उत्पन्न किया गया है। ।। ६-२-३६ ।।

Being a most fallen soul, I was victimized by the illusory energy and have become like a dancing dog led around by a woman’s hand. Now I shall give up all lusty desires and free myself from this illusion. I shall become a merciful, well-wishing friend to all living entities and always absorb myself in Kṛṣṇa consciousness. ।। 6-2-37 ।।

सर्वाधिक पतितात्मा होने से मैं माया का शिकार बना और उस नाचने वाले कुत्ते के समान बन गया जो स्त्री के हाथ के इशारे पर चलता है। अब मैं सारी कामेच्छाओं को त्याग दूँगा और इस मोह से अपने को मुक्त कर लूँगा। मैं दयालु एवं समस्त जीवों का शुभैषी मित्र बनूंगा तथा कृष्णभावनामृत में अपने को सदैव लीन रखूँगा। ।। ६-२-३७ ।।

hk transliteration by Sanscriptममाहमिति देहादौ हित्वा मिथ्यार्थधीर्मतिम् । धास्ये मनो भगवति शुद्धं तत्कीर्तनादिभिः ।। ६-२-३८ ।।
Simply because I chanted the holy name of the Lord in the association of devotees, my heart is now becoming purified. Therefore I shall not fall victim again to the false lures of material sense gratification. Now that I have become fixed in the Absolute Truth, henceforward I shall not identify myself with the body. I shall give up false conceptions of “I” and “mine” and fix my mind on the lotus feet of Kṛṣṇa. ।। 6-2-38 ।।

चूँकि मैंने भक्तों की संगति में भगवान् के पवित्र नाम का केवल कीर्तन किया है, इसलिए मेरा हृदय अब शुद्ध बन रहा है। इसलिए मैं अब पुन: भौतिक इन्द्रियतृप्ति के झूठे आकर्षणों का शिकार नहीं बनूँगा। चूँकि अब मैं परम सत्य में स्थित हो चुका हूँ, अत: अब उसके बाद मैं शरीर के साथ अपनी पहचान नहीं करूँगा। “मैं” तथा “मेरा” के मिथ्या विचारों को त्यागकर मैं अपने मन को कृष्ण के चरणकमलों में स्थिर करूँगा। ।। ६-२-३८ ।।

Because of a moment’s association with devotees [the Viṣṇudūtas], Ajāmila detached himself from the material conception of life with determination. Thus freed from all material attraction, he immediately started for Hardwar. ।। 6-2-39 ।।

भक्तों (विष्णुदूतों) की क्षण-भर की संगति के कारण अजामिल ने अपने मन को संकल्पपूर्वक भौतिक देहात्मबुद्धि से विलग कर लिया। इस तरह समस्त भौतिक आकर्षण से मुक्त हुआ वह तुरन्त हरद्वार के लिए चल पड़ा। ।। ६-२-३९ ।।

In Hardwar, Ajāmila took shelter at a Viṣṇu temple, where he executed the process of bhakti-yoga. He controlled his senses and fully applied his mind in the service of the Lord. ।। 6-2-40 ।।
