प्राकारैर्गोपुरागारैः शातकुम्भपरिच्छदैः । सर्वतोऽलङ्कृतं श्रीमद्विमानशिखरद्युभिः ।। ४-९-५६ ।।

sanskrit

In the capital city there were many palaces, city gates and surrounding walls, which were already very, very beautiful, and on this occasion all of them were decorated with golden ornaments. The domes of the city palaces glittered, as did the domes of the beautiful airplanes which hovered over the city. ।। 4-9-56 ।।

english translation

राजधानी में अनेक महल, नगर-द्वार तथा परकोटे थे, जो पहले से ही अत्यन्त सुन्दर थे, किन्तु इस अवसर पर उन्हें सुनहले आभूषणों से सजाया गया था। नगर के महलों के कँगूरे तो चमक ही रहे थे साथ ही नगर के ऊपर मँडराने वाले सुन्दर विमानों के शिखर भी। ।। ४-९-५६ ।।
