नूनं भवान् भगवतो योऽङ्गजः परमेष्ठिनः । वितुदन्नटते वीणां हितार्थं जगतोऽर्कवत् ।। ४-८-३८ ।।

sanskrit

My dear lord, you are a worthy son of Lord Brahmā, and you travel, playing on your musical instrument, the vīṇā, for the welfare of the entire universe. You are like the sun, which rotates in the universe for the benefit of all living beings. ।। 4-8-38 ।।

english translation

हे भगवन्, आप ब्रह्मा के सुयोग्य पुत्र हैं और आप अपनी वीणा बजाते हुए समस्त विश्व के कल्याण हेतु विचरण करते रहते हैं। आप सूर्य के समान हैं, जो समस्त जीवों के लाभ के लिए ब्रह्माण्ड-भर में चक्कर काटता रहता है। ।। ४-८-३८ ।।
