Srimad Bhagavatam
मयूरकेकाभिरुतं मदान्धालिविमूर्च्छितम् । प्लावितै रक्तकण्ठानां कूजितैश्च पतत्त्रिणाम् ॥ ४-६-१२ ॥
On Kailāsa Hill there is always the rhythmical sound of the peacocks’ sweet vibrations and the bees’ humming. Cuckoos are always singing, and other birds whisper amongst themselves. ॥ 4-6-12 ॥
english translation
कैलास पर्वत पर सदैव मोरों की मधुर ध्वनि तथा भौंरों के गुंजार की ध्वनि गूँजती रहती है। कोयलें सदैव कूजती रहती हैं और अन्य पक्षी परस्पर कलरव करते रहते हैं। ॥ ४-६-१२ ॥
