पुत्राणां चाभवन् पुत्रा एकैकस्य शतं शतम् । यैर्वै पौरञ्जनो वंशः पञ्चालेषु समेधितः ।। ४-२७-९ ।।

sanskrit

Of these many sons, each produced hundreds and hundreds of grandsons. In this way the whole city of Pañcāla became overcrowded by these sons and grandsons of King Purañjana. ।। 4-27-9 ।।
