नमो नमोऽनिरुद्धाय हृषीकेशेन्द्रियात्मने । नमः परमहंसाय पूर्णाय निभृतात्मने ॥ ४-२४-३६ ॥

My Lord, as the supreme directing Deity known as Aniruddha, You are the master of the senses and the mind. I therefore offer my obeisances unto You again and again. You are known as Ananta as well as Saṅkarṣaṇa because of Your ability to destroy the whole creation by the blazing fire from Your mouth. ॥ 4-24-36 ॥

english translation

हे परम अधिष्ठाता अनिरुद्ध रूप भगवान्, आप इन्द्रियों तथा मन के स्वामी हैं। अत: मैं आपको बारम्बार नमस्कार करता हूँ। आप अनन्त तथा साथ ही साथ संकर्षण कहलाते हैं, क्योंकि अपने मुख से निकलने वाली धधकती हुई अग्नि से आप सारी सृष्टि का संहार करने में समर्थ हैं। ॥ ४-२४-३६ ॥

स्वर्गापवर्गद्वाराय नित्यं शुचिषदे नमः । नमो हिरण्यवीर्याय चातुर्होत्राय तन्तवे ॥ ४-२४-३७ ॥

My Lord, O Aniruddha, You are the authority by which the doors of the higher planetary systems and liberation are opened. You are always within the pure heart of the living entity. Therefore I offer my obeisances unto You. You are the possessor of semen which is like gold, and thus, in the form of fire, You help the Vedic sacrifices, beginning with cātur-hotra. Therefore I offer my obeisances unto You. ॥ 4-24-37 ॥

english translation

हे भगवान् अनिरुद्ध, आपके आदेश से स्वर्ग तथा मोक्ष के द्वार खुलते हैं। आप निरन्तर जीवों के शुद्ध हृदय में निवास करते हैं, अत: मैं आपको नमस्कार करता हूँ। आप स्वर्ण सदृश वीर्य के स्वामी हैं और इस प्रकार आप अग्नि रूप में चातुर्होत्र इत्यादि वैदिक यज्ञों में सहायता करते हैं। अत: मैं आपको नमस्कार करता हूँ। ॥ ४-२४-३७ ॥

नम ऊर्ज इषे त्रय्याः पतये यज्ञरेतसे । तृप्तिदाय च जीवानां नमः सर्वरसात्मने ॥ ४-२४-३८ ॥

My Lord, You are the provider of the Pitṛlokas as well as all the demigods. You are the predominating deity of the moon and the master of all three Vedas. I offer my respectful obeisances unto You because You are the original source of satisfaction for all living entities. ॥ 4-24-38 ॥

english translation

हे भगवन्, आप पितृलोक तथा सभी देवताओं के भी पोषक हैं। आप चन्द्रमा के प्रमुख श्रीविग्रह और तीनों वेदों के स्वामी हैं। मैं आपको सादर नमस्कार करता हूँ, क्योंकि आप समस्त जीवात्माओं की तृप्ति के मूल स्रोत हैं। ॥ ४-२४-३८ ॥

सर्वसत्त्वात्मदेहाय विशेषाय स्थवीयसे । नमस्त्रैलोक्यपालाय सह ओजो बलाय च ॥ ४-२४-३९ ॥

My dear Lord, You are the gigantic universal form which contains all the individual bodies of the living entities. You are the maintainer of the three worlds, and as such You maintain the mind, senses, body, and air of life within them. I therefore offer my respectful obeisances unto You. ॥ 4-24-39 ॥

हे भगवान्, आप विराटस्वरूप हैं जिसमें समस्त जीवात्माओं के शरीर समाहित हैं। आप तीनों लोकों के पालक हैं, फलत: आप मन, इन्द्रियों, शरीर तथा प्राण का पालन करने वाले हैं। अत: मैं आपको सादर नमस्कार करता हूँ। ॥ ४-२४-३९ ॥

अर्थलिङ्गाय नभसे नमोऽन्तर्बहिरात्मने । नमः पुण्याय लोकाय अमुष्मै भूरिवर्चसे ॥ ४-२४-४० ॥

My dear Lord, by expanding Your transcendental vibrations, You reveal the actual meaning of everything. You are the all-pervading sky within and without, and You are the ultimate goal of pious activities executed both within this material world and beyond it. I therefore offer my respectful obeisances again and again unto You. ॥ 4-24-40 ॥

हे भगवान्, आप अपनी दिव्य वाणी (शब्दों) को प्रसारित करके प्रत्येक वस्तु का वास्तविक अर्थ प्रकट करने वाले हैं। आप भीतर-बाहर सर्वव्याप्त आकाश हैं और इस लोक में तथा इससे परे किये जाने वाले समस्त पुण्यकर्मों के परम लक्ष्य हैं। अत: मैं आपको पुन: पुन: सादर नमस्कार करता हूँ। ॥ ४-२४-४० ॥

Verses 41-45
