Srimad Bhagavatam
त्रिकृत्व इदमाकर्ण्य नरो नार्यथवाऽऽदृता । अप्रजः सुप्रजतमो निर्धनो धनवत्तमः ॥ ४-२३-३३ ॥
It does not matter whether one is a man or woman. Anyone who, with great respect, hears this narration of Mahārāja Pṛthu will become the parent of many children if without children, and will become the richest if without money. ॥ 4-23-33 ॥
english translation
चाहे नर हो या नारी, जो कोई भी महाराज पृथु के इस वृत्तान्त को अत्यन्त आदरपूर्वक सुनता है, वह यदि नि:सन्तान है, तो सन्तान युक्त और यदि निर्धन है, तो वह धनवान बन जाता है। ॥ ४-२३-३३ ॥
