Srimad Bhagavatam
तदुपद्रवमाज्ञाय लोकस्य वसु लुम्पताम् । भर्तर्युपरते तस्मिन्नन्योन्यं च जिघांसताम् ॥ ४-१४-३९ ॥
Upon seeing the dust storm, the saintly persons could understand that there were a great deal of irregularities due to the death of King Vena. Without government, the state was devoid of law and order, ॥ 4-14-39 ॥

उस अंधड़ को देखकर साधु पुरुषों ने समझ लिया कि राजा वेन की मृत्यु के कारण अत्यधिक अव्यवस्था फैल गई है। बिना सरकार के राज्य कानून तथा व्यवस्था से विहीन हो जाता है, ॥ ४-१४-३९ ॥
