विदुर उवाच ब्रह्मन् कथं भगवतश्चिन्मात्रस्याविकारिणः । लीलया चापि युज्येरन्निर्गुणस्य गुणाः क्रियाः ॥ ३-७-२ ॥
Śrī Vidura said: O great brāhmaṇa, since the Supreme Personality of Godhead is the complete spiritual whole and is unchangeable, how is He connected with the material modes of nature and their activities? If this is His pastime, how do the activities of the unchangeable take place and exhibit qualities without the modes of nature? ॥ 3-7-2 ॥

श्री विदुर ने कहा : हे महान् ब्राह्मण, चूँकि पूर्ण पुरुषोत्तम भगवान् संपूर्ण आध्यात्मिक समष्टि हैं और अविकारी हैं, तो फिर वे प्रकृति के भौतिक गुणों तथा उनके कार्यकलापों से किस तरह सम्बन्धित हैं? यदि यह उनकी लीला है, तो फिर अविकारी के कार्यकलाप किस तरह घटित होते हैं और प्रकृति के गुणों के बिना गुणों को किस तरह प्रदर्शित करते हैं? ॥ ३-७-२ ॥
