तयोरसुरयोरद्य तेजसा यमयोर्हि वः । आक्षिप्तं तेज एतर्हि भगवांस्तद्विधित्सति ॥ ३-१६-३६ ॥
It is the prowess of these twin asuras [demons] that has disturbed you, for it has minimized your power. There is no remedy within my power, however, for it is the Lord Himself who desires to do all this. ॥ 3-16-36 ॥
english translation
यह इन जुड़वे असुरों का तेज है, जिसने तुम सबों को विचलित किया है, क्योंकि इसने तुम्हारी शक्ति को कम कर दिया है। किन्तु मेरी शक्ति में कोई इसका उपचार नहीं है, क्योंकि भगवान् स्वयं ही यह सब करना चाहते हैं। ॥ ३-१६-३६ ॥
