यस्य वाचा प्रजाः सर्वा गावस्तन्त्येव यन्त्रिताः । हरन्ति बलिमायत्तास्तस्मै मुख्याय ते नमः ।। ३-१५-८ ।।

sanskrit

All the living entities within the universe are conducted by the Vedic directions, as a bull is directed by the rope attached to its nose. No one can violate the rules laid down in the Vedic literatures. To the chief person, who has contributed the Vedas, we offer our respect! ।। 3-15-8 ।।

english translation

ब्रह्माण्ड के अन्तर्गत सारे जीव वैदिक आदेशों से उसी प्रकार संचालित होते हैं जिस तरह एक बैल अपनी नाक से बँधी रस्सी (नथुनी) से संचालित होता है। वैदिक ग्रंथों में निर्दिष्ट नियमों का उल्लंघन कोई नहीं कर सकता। उस प्रधान पुरुष को हम सादर नमस्कार करते हैं, जिसने हमें वेद दिये हैं। ।। ३-१५-८ ।।

yasya vAcA prajAH sarvA gAvastantyeva yantritAH | haranti balimAyattAstasmai mukhyAya te namaH || 3-15-8 ||
