कृते शुक्लश्चतुर्बाहुर्जटिलो वल्कलाम्बरः । कृष्णाजिनोपवीताक्षान् बिभ्रद्दण्डकमण्डलू ॥ ११-५-२१ ॥
In Satya-yuga the Lord is white and four-armed, has matted locks and wears a garment of tree bark. He carries a black deerskin, a sacred thread, prayer beads and the rod and waterpot of a brahmacārī. ॥ 11-5-21 ॥

सत्ययुग में भगवान श्वेत और चतुर्भुज हैं, जटाएँ हैं और वृक्ष की छाल का वस्त्र पहनते हैं। वह एक काला हिरण की खाल, एक पवित्र धागा, प्रार्थना माला और एक ब्रह्मचारी की छड़ी और जलपात्र रखते हैं। ॥ ११-५-२१ ॥

मनुष्यास्तु तदा शान्ता निर्वैराः सुहृदः समाः । यजन्ति तपसा देवं शमेन च दमेन च ॥ ११-५-२२ ॥
People in Satya-yuga are peaceful, nonenvious, friendly to every creature and steady in all situations. They worship the Supreme Personality by austere meditation and by internal and external sense control. ॥ 11-5-22 ॥

सत्ययुग में लोग शांतिपूर्ण, ईर्ष्यालु, हर प्राणी के प्रति मैत्रीपूर्ण और सभी स्थितियों में स्थिर रहते हैं। वे कठोर ध्यान और आंतरिक और बाह्य इंद्रिय नियंत्रण द्वारा सर्वोच्च व्यक्तित्व की पूजा करते हैं। ॥ ११-५-२२ ॥

In Satya-yuga the Lord is glorified by the names Haṁsa, Suparṇa, Vaikuṇṭha, Dharma, Yogeśvara, Amala, Īśvara, Puruṣa, Avyakta and Paramātmā. ॥ 11-5-23 ॥

In Tretā-yuga the Lord appears with a red complexion. He has four arms, golden hair, and wears a triple belt representing initiation into each of the three Vedas. Embodying the knowledge of worship by sacrificial performance, which is contained in the Ṛg, Sāma and Yajur Vedas, His symbols are the ladle, spoon and other implements of sacrifice. ॥ 11-5-24 ॥

In Tretā-yuga, those members of human society who are fixed in religiosity and are sincerely interested in achieving the Absolute Truth worship Lord Hari, who contains within Himself all the demigods. The Lord is worshiped by the rituals of sacrifice taught in the three Vedas. ॥ 11-5-25 ॥

त्रेता-युग में, मानव समाज के वे सदस्य जो धार्मिकता में दृढ़ हैं और पूर्ण सत्य को प्राप्त करने में ईमानदारी से रुचि रखते हैं, भगवान हरि की पूजा करते हैं, जो सभी देवताओं को अपने भीतर समाहित करते हैं। भगवान की पूजा तीन वेदों में सिखाए गए यज्ञ अनुष्ठानों द्वारा की जाती है। ॥ ११-५-२५ ॥
