सुदुस्त्यजस्नेहवियोगकातरो न शक्नुवंस्तं परिहातुमातुरः । कृच्छ्रं ययौ मूर्धनि भर्तृपादुके बिभ्रन्नमस्कृत्य ययौ पुनः पुनः ।। ११-२९-४६ ।।

sanskrit

Greatly fearing separation from Him for whom he felt such indestructible affection, Uddhava was distraught, and he could not give up the Lord’s company. Finally, feeling great pain, he bowed down to the Lord again and again, placed the slippers of his master upon his head, and departed. ।। 11-29-46 ।।

english translation

जिनके प्रति उन्हें इतना अटूट स्नेह था, उनसे अलग होने के डर से, उद्धव व्याकुल हो गए, और वे भगवान का साथ नहीं छोड़ सके। अंत में, बहुत दुःख महसूस करते हुए, उसने भगवान को बार-बार प्रणाम किया, अपने गुरु की चप्पलें अपने सिर पर रखीं और चला गया। ।। ११-२९-४६ ।।
