जुहुयान्मूलमन्त्रेण षोडशर्चावदानतः । धर्मादिभ्यो यथा न्यायं मन्त्रैः स्विष्टिकृतं बुधः ।। ११-२७-४१ ।।

sanskrit

He should then offer to sixteen demigods, beginning with Yamarāja, the oblation called sviṣṭi-kṛt, reciting the basic mantras of each deity and the sixteen-line Puruṣa-sūkta hymn. Pouring one oblation after each line of the Puruṣa-sūkta, he should utter the particular mantra naming each deity. ।। 11-27-41 ।।

english translation

फिर उसे यमराज से शुरू करके सोलह देवताओं को स्वष्टिकृत नामक आहुति देनी चाहिए, प्रत्येक देवता के मूल मंत्रों और सोलह पंक्तियों वाले पुरुष-सूक्त भजन का पाठ करना चाहिए। पुरुष-सूक्त की प्रत्येक पंक्ति के बाद एक आहुतियाँ डालते हुए, उसे प्रत्येक देवता का नाम लेते हुए विशेष मंत्र का उच्चारण करना चाहिए। ।। ११-२७-४१ ।।

अभ्यर्च्याथ नमस्कृत्य पार्षदेभ्यो बलिं हरेत् । मूलमन्त्रं जपेद्ब्रह्म स्मरन् नारायणात्मकम् ।। ११-२७-४२ ।।

sanskrit

Having thus worshiped the Lord in the sacrificial fire, the devotee should offer his obeisances to the Lord’s personal associates by bowing down and should then present offerings to them. He should then chant quietly the mūla-mantra of the Deity of the Lord, remembering the Absolute Truth as the Supreme Personality, Nārāyaṇa. ।। 11-27-42 ।।

english translation

इस प्रकार यज्ञ अग्नि में भगवान की पूजा करने के बाद, भक्त को भगवान के निजी सहयोगियों को झुककर प्रणाम करना चाहिए और फिर उन्हें प्रसाद अर्पित करना चाहिए। फिर उसे सर्वोच्च व्यक्तित्व, नारायण के रूप में परम सत्य को याद करते हुए, भगवान के देवता के मूल-मंत्र का चुपचाप जप करना चाहिए। ।। ११-२७-४२ ।।

दत्त्वाऽऽचमनमुच्छेषं विष्वक्सेनाय कल्पयेत् । मुखवासं सुरभिमत्ताम्बूलाद्यमथार्हयेत् ।। ११-२७-४३ ।।

sanskrit

Once again he should offer the Deity water for washing His mouth, and he should give the remnants of the Lord’s food to Viṣvaksena. Then he should present the Deity with fragrant perfume for the mouth and prepared betel nut. ।। 11-27-43 ।।

english translation

एक बार फिर उसे मुंह धोने के लिए देवता को जल अर्पित करना चाहिए, और भगवान के भोजन के अवशेष को विश्वक्सेन को देना चाहिए। फिर उसे मुख के लिए सुगंधित इत्र और तैयार सुपारी देवता को अर्पित करनी चाहिए। ।। ११-२७-४३ ।।

उपगायन् गृणन् नृत्यन् कर्माण्यभिनयन् मम । मत्कथाः श्रावयन् श‍ृण्वन् मुहूर्तं क्षणिको भवेत् ।। ११-२७-४४ ।।

Singing along with others, chanting loudly and dancing, acting out My transcendental pastimes, and hearing and telling stories about Me, the devotee should for some time absorb himself in such festivity. ।। 11-27-44 ।।

english translation

दूसरों के साथ गाना, जोर-जोर से जप करना और नाचना, मेरी दिव्य लीलाओं का अभिनय करना, और मेरे बारे में कहानियाँ सुनना और सुनाना, भक्त को कुछ समय के लिए खुद को इस तरह के उत्सव में लीन करना चाहिए। ।। ११-२७-४४ ।।

स्तवैरुच्चावचैः स्तोत्रैः पौराणैः प्राकृतैरपि । स्तुत्वा प्रसीद भगवन्निति वन्देत दण्डवत् ।। ११-२७-४५ ।।

The devotee should offer homage to the Lord with all kinds of hymns and prayers, both from the Purāṇas and from other ancient scriptures, and also from ordinary traditions. Praying, “O Lord, please be merciful to me!” he should fall down flat like a rod to offer his obeisances. ।। 11-27-45 ।।

english translation

भक्त को पुराणों और अन्य प्राचीन ग्रंथों और सामान्य परंपराओं से सभी प्रकार के भजनों और प्रार्थनाओं के साथ भगवान को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित करनी चाहिए। प्रार्थना करते हुए, "हे भगवान, कृपया मुझ पर दया करें!" उसे दंडवत प्रणाम करने के लिए छड़ी की तरह नीचे गिरना चाहिए। ।। ११-२७-४५ ।।
