विधिना विहिते कुण्डे मेखलागर्तवेदिभिः । अग्निमाधाय परितः समूहेत्पाणिनोदितम् ।। ११-२७-३६ ।।

In an arena constructed according to scriptural injunctions, the devotee should perform a fire sacrifice, utilizing the sacred belt, the sacrificial pit and the altar mound. When igniting the sacrificial fire, the devotee should bring it to a blaze with wood piled up by his own hands. ।। 11-27-36 ।।

english translation

शास्त्रोक्त आदेशों के अनुसार निर्मित अखाड़े में, भक्त को पवित्र बेल्ट, बलिदान गड्ढे और वेदी टीले का उपयोग करके अग्नि यज्ञ करना चाहिए। यज्ञ अग्नि प्रज्वलित करते समय भक्त को अपने हाथों से लकड़ियों का ढेर लगाकर अग्नि प्रज्वलित करनी चाहिए। ।। ११-२७-३६ ।।

परिस्तीर्याथ पर्युक्षेदन्वाधाय यथाविधि । प्रोक्षण्यासाद्य द्रव्याणि प्रोक्ष्याग्नौ भावयेत माम् ।। ११-२७-३७ ।।

After spreading kuśa grass on the ground and sprinkling it with water, one should perform the anvādhāna ritual according to the prescribed rules. Then one should arrange the items to be offered as oblations and should sanctify them with water from the sprinkling vessel. The worshiper should next meditate upon Me within the fire. ।। 11-27-37 ।।

english translation

भूमि पर कुश घास बिछाकर उस पर जल छिड़ककर विधिपूर्वक अनवधान अनुष्ठान करना चाहिए। फिर आहुति देने के लिए वस्तुओं की व्यवस्था करनी चाहिए और उन्हें छिड़कने वाले पात्र के जल से पवित्र करना चाहिए। उपासक को इसके बाद अग्नि के भीतर मेरा ध्यान करना चाहिए। ।। ११-२७-३७ ।।

तप्तजाम्बूनदप्रख्यं शङ्खचक्रगदाम्बुजैः । लसच्चतुर्भुजं शान्तं पद्मकिञ्जल्कवाससम् ।। ११-२७-३८ ।।

The intelligent devotee should meditate upon that form of the Lord whose color is like molten gold, whose four arms are resplendent with the conchshell, disc, club and lotus flower, and who is always peaceful and dressed in a garment colored like the filaments within a lotus flower. ।। 11-27-38 ।।

english translation

बुद्धिमान भक्त को भगवान के उस रूप का ध्यान करना चाहिए जिसका रंग पिघले हुए सोने के समान है, जिसकी चार भुजाएँ शंख, चक्र, गदा और कमल के फूल से शोभायमान हैं, और जो हमेशा शांतिपूर्ण रहता है और जो तंतु के समान रंग का वस्त्र पहने रहता है। कमल का फूल। ।। ११-२७-३८ ।।

His helmet, bracelets, belt and fine arm ornaments shine brilliantly. The symbol of Śrīvatsa is on His chest, along with the glowing Kaustubha gem and a garland of forest flowers. ।। 11-27-39 ।।

उनका हेलमेट, कंगन, बेल्ट और बढ़िया बांह के आभूषण शानदार ढंग से चमकते हैं। उनकी छाती पर श्रीवत्स का प्रतीक है, साथ ही चमकती कौस्तुभ मणि और वन फूलों की माला भी है। ।। ११-२७-३९ ।।

ध्यायन्नभ्यर्च्य दारूणि हविषाभिघृतानि च । प्रास्याज्यभागावाघारौ दत्त्वा चाज्यप्लुतं हविः ।। ११-२७-४० ।।

The devotee should then worship that Lord by taking pieces of firewood soaked in the sacrificial ghee and throwing them into the fire. He should perform the ritual of āghāra, presenting into the fire the various items of oblation drenched in ghee. ।। 11-27-40 ।।

फिर भक्त को यज्ञ के घी में भिगोई हुई लकड़ियों के टुकड़े लेकर अग्नि में डालकर उस भगवान की पूजा करनी चाहिए। उसे घी से भीगी हुई विभिन्न वस्तुओं को अग्नि में अर्पित करते हुए, अघारा का अनुष्ठान करना चाहिए। ।। ११-२७-४० ।।
