विधिना विहिते कुण्डे मेखलागर्तवेदिभिः । अग्निमाधाय परितः समूहेत्पाणिनोदितम् ।। ११-२७-३६ ।।

sanskrit

In an arena constructed according to scriptural injunctions, the devotee should perform a fire sacrifice, utilizing the sacred belt, the sacrificial pit and the altar mound. When igniting the sacrificial fire, the devotee should bring it to a blaze with wood piled up by his own hands. ।। 11-27-36 ।।

english translation

शास्त्रोक्त आदेशों के अनुसार निर्मित अखाड़े में, भक्त को पवित्र बेल्ट, बलिदान गड्ढे और वेदी टीले का उपयोग करके अग्नि यज्ञ करना चाहिए। यज्ञ अग्नि प्रज्वलित करते समय भक्त को अपने हाथों से लकड़ियों का ढेर लगाकर अग्नि प्रज्वलित करनी चाहिए। ।। ११-२७-३६ ।।
