देहं मनोमात्रमिमं गृहीत्वा ममाहमित्यन्धधियो मनुष्याः । एषोऽहमन्योऽयमिति भ्रमेण दुरन्तपारे तमसि भ्रमन्ति ।। ११-२३-५० ।।

sanskrit

Persons who identify with this body, which is simply the product of the material mind, are blinded in their intelligence, thinking in terms of “I” and “mine.” Because of their illusion of “this is I, but that is someone else,” they wander in endless darkness. ।। 11-23-50 ।।

english translation

जो व्यक्ति इस शरीर को पहचानते हैं, जो कि केवल भौतिक मन की उपज है, वे "मैं" और "मेरा" के संदर्भ में सोचकर अपनी बुद्धि में अंधे हो जाते हैं। "यह मैं हूं, लेकिन वह कोई और है" के भ्रम के कारण, वे अनंत अंधकार में भटकते हैं। ।। ११-२३-५० ।।
