किं धनैर्धनदैर्वा किं कामैर्वा कामदैरुत । मृत्युना ग्रस्यमानस्य कर्मभिर्वोत जन्मदैः ।। ११-२३-२७ ।।

sanskrit

For one who is in the grips of death, what is the use of wealth or those who offer it, sense gratification or those who offer it, or, for that matter, any type of fruitive activity, which simply causes one to again take birth in the material world? ।। 11-23-27 ।।

english translation

जो व्यक्ति मृत्यु के वश में है, उसके लिए धन या उसे देने वालों, इंद्रिय संतुष्टि या उसे देने वालों, या, उस मामले के लिए, किसी भी प्रकार की सकाम गतिविधि का क्या उपयोग है, जो उसे फिर से जन्म लेने का कारण बनती है। भौतिक संसार में? ।। ११-२३-२७ ।।
