इन्द्रियायनसृष्ट्येदं त्रैविध्यं भाति वस्तुनि । बहिरन्तर्भिदा हेतुर्जनोऽसज्जनकृद्यथा ।। ११-२२-४१ ।।

Because the mind, which is the resting place of the senses, has created the identification with a new body, the threefold material variety of high, middle and low class appears as if present within the reality of the soul. Thus the self creates external and internal duality, just as a man might give birth to a bad son. ।। 11-22-41 ।।

english translation

क्योंकि मन, जो इंद्रियों का विश्राम स्थान है, ने एक नए शरीर के साथ पहचान बनाई है, उच्च, मध्यम और निम्न वर्ग की तीन गुना भौतिक विविधता आत्मा की वास्तविकता के भीतर मौजूद प्रतीत होती है। इस प्रकार आत्मा बाहरी और आंतरिक द्वंद्व पैदा करती है, जैसे एक आदमी बुरे बेटे को जन्म दे सकता है। ।। ११-२२-४१ ।।
