गृहीत्वापीन्द्रियैरर्थान् यो न द्वेष्टि न हृष्यति । विष्णोर्मायामिदं पश्यन् स वै भागवतोत्तमः ॥ ११-२-४८ ॥
Even while engaging his senses in contact with their objects, one who sees this whole world as the energy of Lord Viṣṇu is neither repelled nor elated. He is indeed the greatest among devotees. ॥ 11-2-48 ॥

अपनी इंद्रियों को उनके विषयों के संपर्क में रखते हुए भी, जो इस संपूर्ण विश्व को भगवान विष्णु की ऊर्जा के रूप में देखता है, वह न तो विकर्षित होता है और न ही प्रसन्न होता है। वह वास्तव में भक्तों में सबसे महान हैं। ॥ ११-२-४८ ॥
