श‍ृण्वन् सुभद्राणि रथाङ्गपाणे- र्जन्मानि कर्माणि च यानि लोके । गीतानि नामानि तदर्थकानि गायन् विलज्जो विचरेदसङ्गः ।। ११-२-३९ ।।

An intelligent person who has controlled his mind and conquered fear should give up all attachment to material objects such as wife, family and nation and should wander freely without embarrassment, hearing and chanting the holy names of the Lord, the bearer of the chariot wheel. The holy names of Kṛṣṇa are all-auspicious because they describe His transcendental birth and activities, which He performs within this world for the salvation of the conditioned souls. Thus the holy names of the Lord are sung throughout the world. ।। 11-2-39 ।।

english translation

एक बुद्धिमान व्यक्ति जिसने अपने मन को नियंत्रित कर लिया है और भय पर विजय प्राप्त कर ली है, उसे पत्नी, परिवार और राष्ट्र जैसी भौतिक वस्तुओं के प्रति सभी लगाव को त्याग देना चाहिए और बिना किसी शर्मिंदगी के स्वतंत्र रूप से घूमना चाहिए, रथ के पहिये के वाहक भगवान के पवित्र नामों को सुनना और जप करना चाहिए। कृष्ण के पवित्र नाम सर्व-शुभ हैं क्योंकि वे उनके दिव्य जन्म और गतिविधियों का वर्णन करते हैं, जो वे बद्ध आत्माओं के उद्धार के लिए इस दुनिया में करते हैं। इस प्रकार भगवान के पवित्र नाम पूरे विश्व में गाए जाते हैं। ।। ११-२-३९ ।।
