शमो मन्निष्ठता बुद्धेर्दम इन्द्रियसंयमः । तितिक्षा दुःखसम्मर्षो जिह्वोपस्थजयो धृतिः ।। ११-१९-३६ ।।

sanskrit

Absorbing the intelligence in Me constitutes mental equilibrium, and complete discipline of the senses is self-control. Tolerance means patiently enduring unhappiness, and steadfastness occurs when one conquers the tongue and genitals. ।। 11-19-36 ।।

english translation

बुद्धि को मुझमें समाहित करना मानसिक संतुलन है, और इंद्रियों का पूर्ण अनुशासन आत्म-संयम है। सहनशीलता का अर्थ है धैर्यपूर्वक दुःख को सहन करना, और दृढ़ता तब आती है जब कोई व्यक्ति जीभ और जननांगों पर विजय प्राप्त कर लेता है। ।। ११-१९-३६ ।।

दण्डन्यासः परं दानं कामत्यागस्तपः स्मृतम् । स्वभावविजयः शौर्यं सत्यं च समदर्शनम् ।। ११-१९-३७ ।।

sanskrit

The greatest charity is to give up all aggression toward others, and renunciation of lust is understood to be real austerity. Real heroism is to conquer one’s natural tendency to enjoy material life, and reality is seeing the Supreme Personality of Godhead everywhere. ।। 11-19-37 ।।

english translation

सबसे बड़ा दान दूसरों के प्रति सभी आक्रामकता को त्यागना है, और वासना का त्याग ही वास्तविक तपस्या समझा जाता है। वास्तविक वीरता भौतिक जीवन का आनंद लेने की अपनी स्वाभाविक प्रवृत्ति पर विजय पाना है, और वास्तविकता हर जगह भगवान के परम व्यक्तित्व को देखना है। ।। ११-१९-३७ ।।

ऋतं च सूनृता वाणी कविभिः परिकीर्तिता । कर्मस्वसङ्गमः शौचं त्यागः सन्न्यास उच्यते ।। ११-१९-३८ ।।

Truthfulness means to speak the truth in a pleasing way, as declared by great sages. Cleanliness is detachment in fruitive activities, whereas renunciation is the sannyāsa order of life. ।। 11-19-38 ।।

सत्यवादिता का अर्थ है सत्य को प्रसन्न तरीके से बोलना, जैसा कि महान ऋषियों ने घोषित किया है। सकाम कर्मों में स्वच्छता वैराग्य है, जबकि त्याग जीवन का संन्यास क्रम है। ।। ११-१९-३८ ।।

धर्म इष्टं धनं नॄणां यज्ञोऽहं भगवत्तमः । दक्षिणा ज्ञानसन्देशः प्राणायामः परं बलम् ।। ११-१९-३९ ।।

The true desirable wealth for human beings is religiousness, and I, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, am sacrifice. Religious remuneration is devotion to the ācārya with the purpose of acquiring spiritual instruction, and the greatest strength is the prāṇāyāma system of breath control. ।। 11-19-39 ।।

english translation

मनुष्य के लिए सच्चा वांछित धन धार्मिकता है, और मैं, परम भगवान, त्याग हूँ। धार्मिक पारिश्रमिक आध्यात्मिक शिक्षा प्राप्त करने के उद्देश्य से आचार्य के प्रति समर्पण है, और सबसे बड़ी ताकत सांस नियंत्रण की प्राणायाम प्रणाली है। ।। ११-१९-३९ ।।

भगो म ऐश्वरो भावो लाभो मद्भक्तिरुत्तमः । विद्याऽऽत्मनि भिदाबाधो जुगुप्सा ह्रीरकर्मसु ।। ११-१९-४० ।।

Actual opulence is My own nature as the Personality of Godhead, through which I exhibit the six unlimited opulences. The supreme gain in life is devotional service to Me, and actual education is nullifying the false perception of duality within the soul. Real modesty is to be disgusted with improper activities, ।। 11-19-40 ।।

वास्तविक ऐश्वर्य भगवान के रूप में मेरा अपना स्वभाव है, जिसके माध्यम से मैं छह असीमित ऐश्वर्य प्रदर्शित करता हूँ। जीवन में सर्वोच्च लाभ मेरी भक्तिपूर्ण सेवा है, और वास्तविक शिक्षा आत्मा के भीतर द्वंद्व की गलत धारणा को खत्म कर रही है। अनुचित कार्यों से घृणा करना ही वास्तविक शील है, ।। ११-१९-४० ।।
