अथानन्तरमावेक्ष्यन् यथा जिज्ञासितागमः । गुरवे दक्षिणां दत्त्वा स्नायाद्गुर्वनुमोदितः ।। ११-१७-३७ ।।

sanskrit

A brahmacārī who has completed his Vedic education and desires to enter household life should offer proper remuneration to the spiritual master, bathe, cut his hair, put on proper clothes, and so on. Then, taking permission from the guru, he should go back to his home. ।। 11-17-37 ।।

english translation

एक ब्रह्मचारी जिसने अपनी वैदिक शिक्षा पूरी कर ली है और गृहस्थ जीवन में प्रवेश करने की इच्छा रखता है, उसे आध्यात्मिक गुरु को उचित पारिश्रमिक देना चाहिए, स्नान करना चाहिए, अपने बाल कटवाने चाहिए, उचित कपड़े पहनने चाहिए, इत्यादि। फिर गुरु से आज्ञा लेकर अपने घर लौट जाना चाहिए। ।। ११-१७-३७ ।।
