मां विद्ध्युद्धव दैत्यानां प्रह्लादमसुरेश्वरम् । सोमं नक्षत्रौषधीनां धनेशं यक्षरक्षसाम् ॥ ११-१६-१६ ॥
My dear Uddhava, among the demoniac sons of Diti know Me to be Prahlāda Mahārāja, the saintly lord of the asuras. Among the stars and herbs I am their lord, Candra (the moon), and among Yakṣas and Rākṣasas I am the lord of wealth, Kuvera. ॥ 11-16-16 ॥

मेरे प्रिय उद्धव, दिति के राक्षसी पुत्रों में से मुझे असुरों के पवित्र स्वामी प्रह्लाद महाराज के रूप में जानते हैं। तारों और जड़ी-बूटियों में मैं उनका स्वामी चन्द्रमा हूँ, और यक्षों और राक्षसों में मैं धन का स्वामी कुबेर हूँ। ॥ ११-१६-१६ ॥

mAM viddhyuddhava daityAnAM prahlAdamasurezvaram । somaM nakSatrauSadhInAM dhanezaM yakSarakSasAm ॥ 11-16-16 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptऐरावतं गजेन्द्राणां यादसां वरुणं प्रभुम् । तपतां द्युमतां सूर्यं मनुष्याणां च भूपतिम् ॥ ११-१६-१७ ॥
I am Airāvata among lordly elephants, and among aquatics I am Varuṇa, the lord of the seas. Among all things that heat and illuminate I am the sun, and among human beings I am the king. ॥ 11-16-17 ॥

मैं राजसी हाथियों में ऐरावत हूं और जलचरों में मैं समुद्र का स्वामी वरुण हूं। गर्मी और रोशनी देने वाली सभी चीजों में मैं सूर्य हूं, और मनुष्यों में मैं राजा हूं। ॥ ११-१६-१७ ॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptउच्चैःश्रवास्तुरङ्गाणां धातूनामस्मि काञ्चनम् । यमः संयमतां चाहं सर्पाणामस्मि वासुकिः ॥ ११-१६-१८ ॥
Among horses I am Uccaiḥśravā, and I am gold among metals. I am Yamarāja among those who suppress and punish, and among serpents I am Vāsuki. ॥ 11-16-18 ॥

मैं घोड़ों में उच्चैश्रवा हूँ और धातुओं में सोना हूँ। मैं दमन करने वालों और दंड देने वालों में यमराज हूं और नागों में वासुकि हूं। ॥ ११-१६-१८ ॥

O sinless Uddhava, among the best of snakes I am Anantadeva, and among those animals with sharp horns or teeth I am the lion. Among the social orders I am the fourth, or the renounced order of life, and among the occupational divisions I am the first, the brāhmaṇas. ॥ 11-16-19 ॥

हे निष्पाप उद्धव, सर्वश्रेष्ठ साँपों में मैं अनंतदेव हूँ, और तीखे सींगों या दाँतों वाले जानवरों में मैं सिंह हूँ। सामाजिक वर्गों में मैं चौथा, या जीवन का त्याग किया हुआ क्रम हूं, और व्यावसायिक विभागों में, मैं पहला ब्राह्मण हूं। ॥ ११-१६-१९ ॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptतीर्थानां स्रोतसां गङ्गा समुद्रः सरसामहम् । आयुधानां धनुरहं त्रिपुरघ्नो धनुष्मताम् ॥ ११-१६-२० ॥
Among sacred and flowing things I am the holy Ganges, and among steady bodies of water I am the ocean. Among weapons I am the bow, and of the wielders of weapons I am Lord Śiva. ॥ 11-16-20 ॥

पवित्र और बहती हुई वस्तुओं में मैं पवित्र गंगा हूँ, और स्थिर जलराशियों में मैं समुद्र हूँ। शस्त्रों में मैं धनुष हूं और शस्त्रधारियों में मैं भगवान शिव हूं। ॥ ११-१६-२० ॥
