तीर्थानां स्रोतसां गङ्गा समुद्रः सरसामहम् । आयुधानां धनुरहं त्रिपुरघ्नो धनुष्मताम् ॥ ११-१६-२० ॥
Among sacred and flowing things I am the holy Ganges, and among steady bodies of water I am the ocean. Among weapons I am the bow, and of the wielders of weapons I am Lord Śiva. ॥ 11-16-20 ॥

पवित्र और बहती हुई वस्तुओं में मैं पवित्र गंगा हूँ, और स्थिर जलराशियों में मैं समुद्र हूँ। शस्त्रों में मैं धनुष हूं और शस्त्रधारियों में मैं भगवान शिव हूं। ॥ ११-१६-२० ॥
