तत्तत्सात्त्विकमेवैषां यद्यद्वृद्धाः प्रचक्षते । निन्दन्ति तामसं तत्तद्राजसं तदुपेक्षितम् ।। ११-१३-५ ।।

sanskrit

Among the ten items I have just mentioned, the great sages who understand Vedic knowledge have praised and recommended those that are in the mode of goodness, criticized and rejected those in the mode of ignorance, and shown indifference to those in the mode of passion. ।। 11-13-5 ।।

english translation

जिन दस वस्तुओं का मैंने अभी उल्लेख किया है, उनमें वैदिक ज्ञान को समझने वाले महान ऋषियों ने उन लोगों की प्रशंसा की है और उनकी सिफारिश की है जो सतोगुण में हैं, जो लोग तमोगुण में हैं उनकी आलोचना की और उन्हें अस्वीकार किया है, और जो लोग रजोगुण में हैं उनके प्रति उदासीनता दिखाई है। ।। ११-१३-५ ।।
