अहङ्कारकृतं बन्धमात्मनोऽर्थविपर्ययम् । विद्वान् निर्विद्य संसारचिन्तां तुर्ये स्थितस्त्यजेत् ।। ११-१३-२९ ।।

sanskrit

The false ego of the living entity places him in bondage and awards him exactly the opposite of what he really desires. Therefore, an intelligent person should give up his constant anxiety to enjoy material life and remain situated in the Lord, who is beyond the functions of material consciousness. ।। 11-13-29 ।।

english translation

जीव का झूठा अहंकार उसे बंधन में डाल देता है और जो वह वास्तव में चाहता है उसके ठीक विपरीत उसे पुरस्कार देता है। इसलिए, एक बुद्धिमान व्यक्ति को भौतिक जीवन का आनंद लेने के लिए अपनी निरंतर चिंता को त्याग देना चाहिए और भगवान में स्थित रहना चाहिए, जो भौतिक चेतना के कार्यों से परे है। ।। ११-१३-२९ ।।
