अप्रमत्तो गभीरात्मा धृतिमाञ्जितषड्गुणः । अमानी मानदः कल्पो मैत्रः कारुणिकः कविः ।। ११-११-३१ ।।

sanskrit

Such a person is very cautious in the execution of his duties and is never subject to superficial transformations, because he is steady and noble, even in a distressing situation. He has conquered over the six material qualities — namely hunger, thirst, lamentation, illusion, old age and death. He is free from all desire for prestige and offers honor to others. He is expert in reviving the Kṛṣṇa consciousness of others and therefore never cheats anyone. Rather, he is a well-wishing friend to all, being most merciful. Such a saintly person must be considered the most learned of men. ।। 11-11-31 ।।

english translation

ऐसा व्यक्ति अपने कर्तव्यों के निष्पादन में बहुत सतर्क रहता है और कभी भी सतही परिवर्तनों के अधीन नहीं होता है, क्योंकि वह संकटपूर्ण स्थिति में भी स्थिर और महान होता है। उन्होंने छह भौतिक गुणों - भूख, प्यास, शोक, भ्रम, बुढ़ापा और मृत्यु - पर विजय प्राप्त कर ली है। वह प्रतिष्ठा की सभी इच्छाओं से मुक्त है और दूसरों को सम्मान प्रदान करता है। वह दूसरों की कृष्ण भावनामृत को पुनर्जीवित करने में विशेषज्ञ है और इसलिए कभी किसी को धोखा नहीं देता। बल्कि वह परम दयालु होने के कारण सबका हितैषी मित्र है। ऐसे संत व्यक्ति को सबसे अधिक विद्वान व्यक्ति माना जाना चाहिए। ।। ११-११-३१ ।।
