न स्तुवीत न निन्देत कुर्वतः साध्वसाधु वा । वदतो गुणदोषाभ्यां वर्जितः समदृङ्मुनिः ॥ ११-११-१६ ॥
A saintly sage sees with equal vision and therefore is not affected by that which is materially good or bad. Indeed, although he observes others performing good and bad work and speaking properly and improperly, the sage does not praise or criticize anyone. ॥ 11-11-16 ॥

एक साधु संत समान दृष्टि से देखता है और इसलिए जो भौतिक रूप से अच्छा या बुरा है, उससे प्रभावित नहीं होता है। वास्तव में, यद्यपि वह दूसरों को अच्छे और बुरे कार्य करते हुए और उचित और अनुचित बोलते हुए देखता है, फिर भी वह किसी की प्रशंसा या आलोचना नहीं करता है। ॥ ११-११-१६ ॥
