यस्यात्मा हिंस्यते हिंस्रैर्येन किञ्चिद्यदृच्छया । अर्च्यते वा क्वचित्तत्र न व्यतिक्रियते बुधः ॥ ११-११-१५ ॥
Sometimes for no apparent reason one’s body is attacked by cruel people or violent animals. At other times and in other places, one will suddenly be offered great respect or worship. One who becomes neither angry when attacked nor satisfied when worshiped is actually intelligent. ॥ 11-11-15 ॥

कभी-कभी बिना किसी स्पष्ट कारण के किसी के शरीर पर क्रूर लोग या हिंसक जानवर हमला कर देते हैं। अन्य समय और अन्य स्थानों पर, किसी को अचानक बहुत सम्मान या पूजा की पेशकश की जाएगी। जो व्यक्ति आक्रमण होने पर न तो क्रोधित होता है और न ही पूजा करने पर संतुष्ट होता है, वह वास्तव में बुद्धिमान है। ॥ ११-११-१५ ॥
