विशोको ब्रह्मसम्पत्त्या सञ्च्छिन्नद्वैतसंशयः । लीनप्रकृतिनैर्गुण्यादलिङ्गत्वादसम्भवः ॥ १-१५-३१ ॥
Because of his possessing spiritual assets, the doubts of duality were completely cut off. Thus he was freed from the three modes of material nature and placed in transcendence. There was no longer any chance of his becoming entangled in birth and death, for he was freed from material form. ॥ 1-15-31 ॥

आध्यात्मिक सम्पत्ति से युक्त होने के कारण उसके द्वैत के संशय पूर्ण रूप से छिन्न हो गये। इस तरह वह भौतिक प्रकृति के तीनों गुणों से मुक्त होकर अध्यात्म में स्थित हो गया। अब जन्म तथा मृत्यु के पाश में उसके फँसने की कोई आशंका न थी, क्योंकि वह भौतिक रूप से मुक्त हो चुका था। ॥ १-१५-३१ ॥

निशम्य भगवन्मार्गं संस्थां यदुकुलस्य च । स्वःपथाय मतिं चक्रे निभृतात्मा युधिष्ठिरः ॥ १-१५-३२ ॥
Upon hearing of Lord Kṛṣṇa’s returning to His abode, and upon understanding the end of the Yadu dynasty’s earthly manifestation, Mahārāja Yudhiṣṭhira decided to go back home, back to Godhead. ॥ 1-15-32 ॥

भगवान् कृष्ण के स्वधाम गमन को सुनकर तथा यदुवंश के पृथ्वी के अस्तित्व का अन्त समझकर, महाराज युधिष्ठिर ने भगवद्धाम जाने का निश्चय किया। ॥ १-१५-३२ ॥

पृथाप्यनुश्रुत्य धनञ्जयोदितंनाशं यदूनां भगवद्गतिं च ताम् । एकान्तभक्त्या भगवत्यधोक्षजेनिवेशितात्मोपरराम संसृतेः ॥ १-१५-३३ ॥
Kuntī, after overhearing Arjuna’s telling of the end of the Yadu dynasty and disappearance of Lord Kṛṣṇa, engaged in the devotional service of the transcendental Personality of Godhead with full attention and thus gained release from the course of material existence. ॥ 1-15-33 ॥

अर्जुन द्वारा यदुवंश के नाश तथा भगवान् कृष्ण के अन्तर्धान होने की बात सुनकर, कुन्ती ने पूर्ण मनोयोग से दिव्य भगवान् की भक्ति में अपने को लगा दिया और इस तरह संसार के आवागमन से मोक्ष प्राप्त किया। ॥ १-१५-३३ ॥

ययाहरद्भुवो भारं तां तनुं विजहावजः । कण्टकं कण्टकेनेव द्वयं चापीशितुः समम् ॥ १-१५-३४ ॥
The supreme unborn, Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa, caused the members of the Yadu dynasty to relinquish their bodies, and thus He relieved the burden of the world. This action was like picking out a thorn with a thorn, though both are the same to the controller. ॥ 1-15-34 ॥

सर्वोपरि अजन्मा भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण ने यदुवंश के सदस्यों से अपना-अपना शरीर त्याग करवा दिया और इस तरह उन्होंने पृथ्वी के भार को उतारा। यह कार्य काँटे को काँटे से निकालने जैसा था, यद्यपि नियन्ता के लिए दोनों एक से हैं। ॥ १-१५-३४ ॥

यथा मत्स्यादिरूपाणि धत्ते जह्याद्यथा नटः । भूभारः क्षपितो येन जहौ तच्च कलेवरम् ॥ १-१५-३५ ॥
The Supreme Lord relinquished the body which He manifested to diminish the burden of the earth. Just like a magician, He relinquishes one body to accept different ones, like the fish incarnation and others. ॥ 1-15-35 ॥

परमेश्वर ने जिस शरीर को पृथ्वी का भार कम करने के लिए प्रकट किया था, उसे उन्होंने छोड़ दिया। वे एक जादूगर के समान विभिन्न शरीरों को, यथा मत्स्य अवतार तथा अन्य अवतारों में धारण करने के लिए एक शरीर को छोड़ते हैं। ॥ १-१५-३५ ॥
