यद्बाहुदण्डगुप्तायां स्वपुर्यां यदवोऽर्चिताः । क्रीडन्ति परमानन्दं महापौरुषिका इव ॥ १-१४-३६ ॥
The original Personality of Godhead, the enjoyer, and Balarāma, the primeval Lord Ananta, are staying in the ocean of the Yadu dynasty for the welfare, protection and general progress of the entire universe. And the members of the Yadu dynasty, being protected by the arms of the Lord, are enjoying life like the residents of the spiritual sky. ॥ 1-14-(35-36) ॥

परम भोक्ता आदि भगवान् तथा जो मूल भगवान् अनन्त हैं, बलराम यदुवंश रूपी सागर में समस्त ब्रह्माण्ड के कल्याण, सुरक्षा तथा उन्नति के लिए निवास कर रहे हैं। और सारे यदुवंशी भगवान् की भुजाओं द्वारा सुरक्षित रहकर, वैकुण्ठवासियों की भाँति जीवन का आनन्द उठा रहे हैं। ॥ १-१४-(३५-३६) ॥

यत्पादशुश्रूषणमुख्यकर्मणा सत्यादयो द्व्यष्टसहस्रयोषितः । निर्जित्य सङ्ख्ये त्रिदशांस्तदाशिषोहरन्ति वज्रायुधवल्लभोचिताः ॥ १-१४-३७ ॥
Simply by administering comforts at the lotus feet of the Lord, which is the most important of all services, the queens at Dvārakā, headed by Satyabhāmā, induced the Lord to conquer the demigods. Thus the queens enjoy things which are prerogatives of the wives of the controller of thunderbolts. ॥ 1-14-37 ॥

समस्त सेवाओं में सर्वाधिक महत्वपूर्ण, भगवान् के चरणकमलों की शुश्रूषा करने मात्र से, द्वारका-स्थित सत्यभामा के अधीक्षण में रानियों ने भगवान् को प्रेरित किया कि वे देवताओं को जीत लें। इस प्रकार रानियाँ उन वस्तुओं का भोग कर रही हैं, जो वज्र के नियंत्रक की पत्नियों द्वारा भोग्य हैं। ॥ १-१४-३७ ॥

यद्बाहुदण्डाभ्युदयानुजीविनोयदुप्रवीरा ह्यकुतोभया मुहुः । अधिक्रमन्त्यङ्घ्रिभिराहृतां बलात्सभां सुधर्मां सुरसत्तमोचिताम् ॥ १-१४-३८ ॥
The great heroes of the Yadu dynasty, being protected by the arms of Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa, always remain fearless in every respect. And therefore their feet trample over the Sudharmā assembly house, which the best demigods deserved but which was taken away from them. ॥ 1-14-38 ॥

बड़े-बड़े यदुवंशी वीर भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण की बाहुओं द्वारा सुरक्षित रहकर सभी प्रकार से निर्भय बने रहते हैं। अतएव उनके चरण उस सुधर्मा के सभा-भवन में पड़ते रहते हैं, जो सर्वश्रेष्ठ देवताओं के लिए है, किन्तु जो उनसे छीन लिया गया था। ॥ १-१४-३८ ॥

कच्चित्तेऽनामयं तात भ्रष्टतेजा विभासि मे । अलब्धमानोऽवज्ञातः किं वा तात चिरोषितः ॥ १-१४-३९ ॥
My brother Arjuna, please tell me whether your health is all right. You appear to have lost your bodily luster. Is this due to others disrespecting and neglecting you because of your long stay at Dvārakā? ॥ 1-14-39 ॥

मेरे भाई अर्जुन, मुझे बताओ कि तुम्हारा स्वास्थ्य ठीक तो है? ऐसा लगता है कि तुम्हारे शरीर की कान्ति खो गई है। क्या द्वारका में दीर्घकाल तक रहने से, अन्यों द्वारा असम्मान तथा उपेक्षा दिखलाने से ऐसा हुआ है? ॥ १-१४-३९ ॥

कच्चिन्नाभिहतोऽभावैः शब्दादिभिरमङ्गलैः । न दत्तमुक्तमर्थिभ्य आशया यत्प्रतिश्रुतम् ॥ १-१४-४० ॥
Has someone addressed you with unfriendly words or threatened you? Could you not give charity to one who asked, or could you not keep your promise to someone? ॥ 1-14-40 ॥

कहीं किसी ने तुम्हें अपमानजनक शब्द तो नहीं कहे? या तुम्हें धमकाया तो नहीं? क्या तुम याचक को दान नहीं दे सके? या किसी से अपना वचन नहीं निभा पाये? ॥ १-१४-४० ॥
