स एवमुक्तो देवेन शिरसा पादयोर्नतः।। अस्तवं परमेशानं जराशोकविनाशनम्।। ६।।

When thus addressed by the lord I bowed to his feet with my head and eulogised lord Śiva, the destroyer of the sorrow of old age.

english translation

अथ मां नन्दिनं शम्भुर्भक्त्या परामया युतम् ।। अश्रुपूर्णेक्षणं सम्यक् पादयोः शिरसा नतम् ।। ७।।

Then Lord Śambhu gave me Nandi with supreme devotion Her eyes filled with tears and she bowed her head perfectly at her feet.

atha mAM nandinaM zambhurbhaktyA parAmayA yutam || azrupUrNekSaNaM samyak pAdayoH zirasA natam || 7||

उत्थाय परमेशानः पस्पर्श परमार्तिहा।। कराभ्यां संमुखाभ्यान्तु संगृह्य वृषभध्वजः ।। ८।।

The destroyer of supreme suffering got up and touched the Supreme Lord Holding the bull flag in both hands facing each other.

english translation

utthAya paramezAnaH pasparza paramArtihA|| karAbhyAM saMmukhAbhyAntu saMgRhya vRSabhadhvajaH || 8||

निरीक्ष्य गणपांश्चैव देवीं हिमवतः सुताम् ।। उवाच मां कृपादृष्ट्या समीक्ष्य जगताम्पतिः ।। ९ ।।

Glancing at the leaders of the Gaṇas and the goddess, the daughter of Himavat, the lord of the worlds, looked at me with sympathy and spoke.

english translation

nirIkSya gaNapAMzcaiva devIM himavataH sutAm || uvAca mAM kRpAdRSTyA samIkSya jagatAmpatiH || 9 ||

वत्स नन्दिन्महाप्राज्ञ मृत्योर्भीतिः कुतस्तव ।। मयैव प्रेषितौ विप्रौ मत्समस्त्वं न संशयः ।। १०।।

“Dear Nandin, O intelligent one, wherefore can you be afraid of death? The two brahmins were sent by me alone. There is no doubt. You are equal to me.
