एवं कृतविवाहोऽहं तया पत्न्या महामुने ॥ पादौ ववन्दे शम्भोश्च शिवाया ब्रह्मणो हरेः ॥ ४६॥
O great sage, the marriage having been celebrated thus I, in the company of my wife, saluted the feet of Śiva, Brahmā and Viṣṇu for the sake of welfare.
english translation
तथाविधं त्रिलोकेशस्सपत्नीकं च माम्प्रभुः ॥ प्रोवाच परया प्रीत्या स शिवो भक्तवत्सलः ॥ ४७॥
Siva, lord of the three worlds, favourably disposed towards his devotees spoke these words with great love and pleasure to me accompanied by my wife.
english translation
ईश्वर उवाच ॥ शृणु सत्पुत्र तातस्त्वं सुयशेयन्तव प्रिया ॥ ददामि ते वरम्प्रीत्या यत्ते मनसि वाञ्छितम् ॥ ४८॥
Lord Śiva said:— O dear son, listen. This Suyaśā is your beloved wife: Whatever is desired by you in your mind I shall grant you that boon.
english translation
सदाहन्तव नन्दीश सन्तुष्टोऽस्मि गणेश्वर ॥ देव्या च सहितो वत्स शृणु मे परमं वचः ॥ ४९ ॥
O Nandīśa, O lord of Gaṇas, I am always pleased with you in the company of the goddess. O dear boy, listen to my weighty words.
english translation
सदेष्टश्च विशिष्टश्च परमैश्वर्य्यसंयुतः॥ महायोगी महेष्वासः स पिता स पितामहः ॥ ५० ॥
He was well-loved and distinguished and endowed with supreme opulence. That great yogi, that great archer, that father, that grandfather.
