After praising Śilāda and eulogising Śiva and Pārvatī by reciting good hymn all of them returned to their respective abodes. Śiva and Śivā, the lord and goddess of all, went away too.
He was armed with tridents and other weapons and was in the form of Rudra in every way He was filled with great joy and bowed down to him with affection.
Śilāda said:— O lord of gods, since I have been delighted by you, you will be named Nandin. Hence I bow to you, bliss (incarnate), the lord of the universe.
