किम्पुनश्च तथा बाणान्प्रयच्छामि वनेचर ॥ यदि मे या चिकीर्षा स्यात्कथं नागम्यतेऽधुना ॥ २६ ॥
Then O forester, how can I simply give away the arrow, if what I am desirous of doing is not being understood?

यथागच्छतु ते भर्ता किमर्थं भाषतेऽधुना ॥ आगत्य च मया सार्द्धं जित्वा युद्धे च माम्पुनः ॥ २७ ॥
Let your husband go as he pleases Why is he talking now He came with me and defeated me in battle again

नीत्वा बाणमिमं भिल्ल स्वामी ते वाहिनीपतिः॥ निजालयं सुखं यातु विलंबः क्रियते कथम्॥ २८॥
Bhilla lord of your army has taken this arrow Let him go to his own abode happily How can there be delay

नन्दीश्वर उवाच॥ महेश्वरकृपाप्राप्तसद्बलस्यार्जुनस्य हि॥ इत्येतद्वचनं श्रुत्वा भिल्लो वाक्यमथाब्रवीत्॥ २९॥
Nandīśvara said:— On hearing these words of Arjuna who derived his strength from the mercy of lord Śiva, the forester spoke these words.
english translation
भिल्ल उवाच॥ अज्ञोसि त्वं ऋषिर्नासि मरणं त्वीहसे कथम्॥ देहि बाणं सुखन्तिष्ठ त्वन्यथा क्लेशभाग्भवेः ॥ ३०॥
The forester said:— You are ignorant. You are not a sage. Why do you invite death? Give up the arrow and stay here happily or you will come to grief.
