अष्टमे परिवर्ते हि वसिष्ठो मुनिसत्तमः ॥ कर्त्ता वेदविभागस्य वेदव्यासो भविष्यति ॥३१॥
In the eighth aeon there will be Vasiṣṭha Vedavyāsa—the excellent sage who will classify the Vedas.
english translation
तत्राप्यहं भविष्यामि नामतो दधिवाहनः ॥ व्यासस्य हि करिष्यामि साहाय्यं योगवित्तम ॥ ३२ ॥
There I will be born as Dadhivāhana by name. As the foremost among those who know Yoga I will render help to Vyāsa.
english translation
कपिलश्चासुरिः पञ्चशिखः शाल्वलपूर्वकः ॥ चत्वारो योगिनः पुत्रा भविष्यन्ति समा मम ॥ ३३ ॥
Four sons, all Yogins on a par with me, viz—Kapila, Āsuri, Śālvala and Pañcaśikha will be born of me.

नवमे परिवर्ते तु तस्मिन्नेव युगे विधे ॥ भविष्यति मुनिश्रेष्ठो व्यासः सारस्वताह्वयः ॥३४॥
O Brahmā, in the ninth aeon of the same Yuga, there will be Sārasvata Vyāsa, the excellent sage.
english translation
व्यासस्य ध्यायतस्तस्य निवृत्तिपथवृद्धये ॥ तदाप्यहं भविष्यामि ऋषभो नामतः स्मृतः ॥३५॥
As Vyāsa sits in meditation for the flourish of the path of renunciation, I will be born as Ṛṣabha.
