भिक्षुवर्य्यावतारस्ते वर्णितश्च मयाधुना ॥ शिवस्य धर्मगुप्ताह्व नृपबालसुखप्रदः ॥ ७६ ॥

एतदाख्यानमनघं पवित्रं पावनं महत् ॥ धर्मार्थकाममोक्षाणां साधनं सर्वकामदम् ॥ ७७ ॥
This narrative is pious, extremely sanctifying and holy. It is an instrument for attaining virtue, wealth, love and liberation. It yields all pleasures.

य एतच्छ्रृणुयान्नित्यं श्रावयेद्वा समाहितः॥ स भुक्त्वेहाखिलान्कामान्सोन्ते शिवपुरम्व्रजेत् ॥ ७८॥
He who listens to this tale or narrates this to others with pure mind enjoys all pleasures here and goes to the region of Śiva hereafter.
