एवमर्चयतोः शम्भुं भूयोपि परया मुदा ॥ सम्वत्सरो व्यतीयाय तस्मिन्नेव तयोर्गृहे ॥ ७१ ॥
As they continued the worship of Śiva again with great joy, a year elapsed in the very same house.
english translation
सम्वत्सरे व्यतिक्रान्ते स राजतनयो मुने ॥ गत्वा वनान्ते विप्रेण शिवस्यानुग्रहाद्विभोः ॥ ७२ ॥
O sage after a year had passed the prince was born By the grace of Lord Śiva he reached the end of the forest with a brāhmaṇa.

अकस्मादागतां तत्र दत्तां तज्जनकेन ह ॥ विवाह्य गन्धर्वसुतां चक्रे राज्यमकण्टकम् ॥ ७३ ॥
Suddenly she came there and was given to him by her father He married the daughter of a gandharva and established a thornless kingdom.

या विप्रवनिता पूर्वंतमपुष्णात्स्वपुत्रवत्॥ सैव माताभवत्तस्य स भ्राता द्विजनन्दनः ॥ ७४ ॥
He considered the brahman lady who brought him up as his mother and the brahmin boy as his brother.

इत्थमाराध्य देवेशं धर्मगुप्ताह्वयस्स वै ॥ विदर्भ विषये राज्ञ्या तया भोगं चकार ह ॥ ७५॥
In name of Dharmagupta he continued to propitiate the lord of gods and enjoyed pleasures along with the princess in the kingdom of Vidarbha.
