एवमर्चयतोः शम्भुं भूयोपि परया मुदा ।। सम्वत्सरो व्यतीयाय तस्मिन्नेव तयोर्गृहे ।। ७१ ।।

सम्वत्सरे व्यतिक्रान्ते स राजतनयो मुने ।। गत्वा वनान्ते विप्रेण शिवस्यानुग्रहाद्विभोः ।। ७२ ।।

O sage after a year had passed the prince was born By the grace of Lord Śiva he reached the end of the forest with a brāhmaṇa.

samvatsare vyatikrAnte sa rAjatanayo mune || gatvA vanAnte vipreNa zivasyAnugrahAdvibhoH || 72 ||

अकस्मादागतां तत्र दत्तां तज्जनकेन ह ।। विवाह्य गन्धर्वसुतां चक्रे राज्यमकण्टकम् ।। ७३ ।।

Suddenly she came there and was given to him by her father He married the daughter of a gandharva and established a thornless kingdom.

या विप्रवनिता पूर्वंतमपुष्णात्स्वपुत्रवत्।। सैव माताभवत्तस्य स भ्राता द्विजनन्दनः ।। ७४ ।।

He considered the brahman lady who brought him up as his mother and the brahmin boy as his brother.

yA vipravanitA pUrvaMtamapuSNAtsvaputravat|| saiva mAtAbhavattasya sa bhrAtA dvijanandanaH || 74 ||

इत्थमाराध्य देवेशं धर्मगुप्ताह्वयस्स वै ।। विदर्भ विषये राज्ञ्या तया भोगं चकार ह ।। ७५।।

In name of Dharmagupta he continued to propitiate the lord of gods and enjoyed pleasures along with the princess in the kingdom of Vidarbha.
