विदर्भे सोभवद्राजा जन्मनीह शिवव्रती॥ शिवार्चनान्तरायेण परैर्भोगांन्तरे हतः ॥ ५५ ॥
He was born as the king of Vidarbha. He observed holy rites of Śiva during this birth also, since there was a hindrance to his worship of Śiva (during the previous birth) he was now killed in the midst of his enjoyment.
