नन्दीश्वर उवाच ॥ इत्युक्त्वा हि महानन्दा त्रिवारं शशिभास्करौ॥ प्रमाणीकृत्य सुप्रीत्या सा तद्धृदयमस्पृशत् ॥ २६॥
Nandīśvara said:— After repeating this for three times, with the moon and the sun as witnesses, Mahānandā touched his heart with pleasure.
english translation
अथ तस्यै स वैश्यस्तु प्रदत्त्वा रत्नकंकणम्॥ लिंगं रत्नमयं तस्य हस्ते दत्त्वेदमब्रवीत्॥ २७॥
After giving her the gemset bangle that merchant handed to her a gemset phallic image and spoke thus.
english translation
वैश्यनाथ उवाच॥ इदं रत्नमयं लिंगं शैवं मत्प्राणदवल्ल भम् ॥ रक्षणीयं त्वया कान्ते गोपनीयं प्रयत्नतः ॥ २८॥
The merchant said:— O my beloved, this gemset phallic image is very dear to me. It shall be well-preserved strenuously and in secret by you.
english translation
नन्दीश्वर उवाच॥ एवमस्त्विति सा प्रोच्य लिंगमादाय रत्नजम् ॥ नाट्यमण्डपिका मध्ये निधाय प्राविशद्गृहम् ॥ २९ ॥
Nandīśvara said:— She said “Let it be so” and took the gemset phallic image. She kept it in the middle of the dancing platform and entered the house.
english translation
सा तेन संगता रात्रौ वैश्येन विटधर्मिणा ॥ सुखं सुष्वाप पर्यंके मृदुतल्पोपशो भिते ॥ ३० ॥
During the night she had her sexual union with the merchant who behaved like a libertine. She then went to sleep on the couch brilliant with a soft bed.
