संमोहितः कामबाणैर्लेभे तत्रैव निर्वृतिम् ।। ताभिश्च वरनारीभिः क्रीडमानो बभूव ह ।। ४६ ।।

Fascinated by the Cupid’s arrows Viṣṇu attained highest pleasure only there. He began to indulge in sexual dalliance with those women of exquisite beauty.

saMmohitaH kAmabANairlebhe tatraiva nirvRtim || tAbhizca varanArIbhiH krIDamAno babhUva ha || 46 ||

ताभ्य पुत्रानजनयद्विष्णुर्वरपराक्रमान् ।। महीं सर्वां कंपयतो नानायुद्धविशारदान् ।। ४७ ।।

Viṣṇu begot of them sons of great exploits and valour, experts in various kinds of warfare, shaking the entire earth.

ततो वै हरिपुत्रास्ते महाबलपराक्रमाः ।। महोपद्रवमाचेरुस्स्वर्गे भुवि च दुःखदम् ।। ४८ ।।

Those sons of Viṣṇu of great strength and valour wrought great havoc both in heaven and earth causing misery to all.

लोकोपद्रवमालक्ष्य निर्जरा मुनयोऽथ वै ।। चक्रुर्निवेदनन्तेषां ब्रह्मणे प्रणिपत्य च ।। ४९ ।।

On seeing the great harm done to the worlds the gods and the sages approached Brahmā and informed him of this after bowing to him.

english translation

lokopadravamAlakSya nirjarA munayo'tha vai || cakrurnivedananteSAM brahmaNe praNipatya ca || 49 ||

तच्छ्रुत्वादाय तान्ब्रह्मा ययौ कैलासपर्वतम् ।। तत्र दृष्ट्वा शिवं देवैः प्रणनाम पुनः पुनः ।। ५० ।।

On hearing it Brahmā took them to the mountain Kailāsa. On seeing Śiva there he bowed to him again and again along with the gods.
