Shiva Purana
लोकोपद्रवमालक्ष्य निर्जरा मुनयोऽथ वै ॥ चक्रुर्निवेदनन्तेषां ब्रह्मणे प्रणिपत्य च ॥ ४९ ॥
On seeing the great harm done to the worlds the gods and the sages approached Brahmā and informed him of this after bowing to him.
english translation
lokopadravamAlakSya nirjarA munayo'tha vai ॥ cakrurnivedananteSAM brahmaNe praNipatya ca ॥ 49 ॥
