    मृत्युः सर्वहरश्चाहमुद्भवश्च भविष्यताम् । कीर्तिः श्रीर्वाक्च नारीणां स्मृतिर्मेधा धृतिः क्षमा ॥ १०-३४॥mRtyuH sarvaharazcAhamudbhavazca bhaviSyatAm । kIrtiH zrIrvAkca nArINAM smRtirmedhA dhRtiH kSamA ॥ 10-34॥I am also all-devouring death which carries away the life of all. Of those that shall be born I am that called birth. Of women (i.e., of goddesses who are the powers of Shri Bhagvan ) I am prosperity (Shri); I am fame (Kirti); I am speech (Vak); I am memory (Smriti); I am intelligence (Medha); I am endurance (Dhriti); and I am forgiveness (Kshama).

Among fishes, too, I am the Makar ; I am Ganga among rivers.

    आयुधानामहं वज्रं धेनूनामस्मि कामधुक् । प्रजनश्चास्मि कन्दर्पः सर्पाणामस्मि वासुकिः ॥ १०-२८॥AyudhAnAmahaM vajraM dhenUnAmasmi kAmadhuk । prajanazcAsmi kandarpaH sarpANAmasmi vAsukiH ॥ 10-28॥Among weapons I am the Vajra ( thunderbolt ); among cows I am kamadhenu (the wish-fulfilling cow called Kamadhenu ). I am Kandarpa (Kamadeva, the god of love), the Progenitor, and among serpents I am Vasuki.

This body is called the Field - Kshetra. He who knows it is called the Filed-knower - Kshetragya, by those who know the self.

There is no end to their extent.

    ये तु धर्म्यामृतमिदं यथोक्तं पर्युपासते । श्रद्दधाना मत्परमा भक्तास्तेऽतीव मे प्रियाः ॥ १२-२०॥ye tu dharmyAmRtamidaM yathoktaM paryupAsate । zraddadhAnA matparamA bhaktAste'tIva me priyAH ॥ 12-20॥Endowed with faith, regarding Me as their supreme goal, who follow this immortal Dharma (law or doctrine) as described above, they, the devotees, are exceedingly dear to Me.

    वक्तुमर्हस्यशेषेण दिव्या ह्यात्मविभूतयः । याभिर्विभूतिभिर्लोकानिमांस्त्वं व्याप्य तिष्ठसि ॥ १०-१६॥vaktumarhasyazeSeNa divyA hyAtmavibhUtayaH । yAbhirvibhUtibhirlokAnimAMstvaM vyApya tiSThasi ॥ 10-16॥Be pleased to speak in full of Your own manifestations which are indeed divine, through which manifestations You exist pervading these worlds.
