    गतिर्भर्ता प्रभुः साक्षी निवासः शरणं सुहृत् । प्रभवः प्रलयः स्थानं निधानं बीजमव्ययम् ॥ ९-१८॥gatirbhartA prabhuH sAkSI nivAsaH zaraNaM suhRt । prabhavaH pralayaH sthAnaM nidhAnaM bIjamavyayam ॥ 9-18॥I am the goal, the nourisher, the Lord, the witness, the abode, the shelter, the friend, the origin, the dissolution, the foundation, the treasure-house and the seed which is imperishable.

Because of this, O Kauntey, does the world revolve.

    मय्येव मन आधत्स्व मयि बुद्धिं निवेशय । निवसिष्यसि मय्येव अत ऊर्ध्वं न संशयः ॥ १२-८॥mayyeva mana Adhatsva mayi buddhiM nivezaya । nivasiSyasi mayyeva ata UrdhvaM na saMzayaH ॥ 12-8॥Fix the mind on Me alone; in Me alone rest the intellect. There is no doubt that hereafter you will dwell in Me alone.

    मया ततमिदं सर्वं जगदव्यक्तमूर्तिना । मत्स्थानि सर्वभूतानि न चाहं तेष्ववस्थितः ॥ ९-४॥mayA tatamidaM sarvaM jagadavyaktamUrtinA । matsthAni sarvabhUtAni na cAhaM teSvavasthitaH ॥ 9-4॥This entire universe is pervaded by Me, in an unmanifest form. All beings abide in Me, but I do not abide in them.

    ये तु सर्वाणि कर्माणि मयि संन्यस्य मत्पराः । अनन्येनैव योगेन मां ध्यायन्त उपासते ॥ १२-६॥ye tu sarvANi karmANi mayi saMnyasya matparAH । ananyenaiva yogena mAM dhyAyanta upAsate ॥ 12-6॥But to those who worship Me, renouncing all actions in Me, regarding Me as the supreme goal, meditating on Me ( Sagun Bramh ) with Ananya Yoga ( single-minded Yoga ).

    श्रीभगवानुवाच । इदं तु ते गुह्यतमं प्रवक्ष्याम्यनसूयवे । ज्ञानं विज्ञानसहितं यज्ज्ञात्वा मोक्ष्यसेऽशुभात् ॥ ९-१॥zrIbhagavAnuvAca । idaM tu te guhyatamaM pravakSyAmyanasUyave । jJAnaM vijJAnasahitaM yajjJAtvA mokSyase'zubhAt ॥ 9-1॥Shri Bhagvan said However, to you who are not cavil, I shall speak of this highest secret itself, which is Knowledge ॥ Gyana mean Bramh that is Consciousness, or Its knowledge gathered from the Vedas (paroksha-gyana). Vigyana is direct experience (aparoksha-gyana).॥ combined with experience, by realizing which you shall be free from evil.
