The beautiful place where he gave up his body is known as Angadesa. [1-23-14]

    तत्र गात्रं हतं तस्य निर्दग्धस्य महात्मनः | अशरीरः कृतः कामः क्रोधाद्देवेश्वरेण ह || १-२३-१३tatra gAtraM hataM tasya nirdagdhasya mahAtmanaH | azarIraH kRtaH kAmaH krodhAddevezvareNa ha || 1-23-13Having been completely burnt down by Lord Siva, Kama's body was destroyed. Mighty angry, Siva, reduced Kama to a 'disembodied being. [1-23-13]
