    नाधर्मश चरितॊ राजन सद्यः फलति गौर इव पुत्रेषु वा नप्तृषु वा न चेद आत्मनि पश्यति फलत्य एव धरुवं पापं गुरु भुक्तम इवॊदरे ॥ १-७५-२ ॥nAdharmaza caritò rAjana sadyaH phalati gaura iva putreSu vA naptRSu vA na ceda Atmani pazyati phalatya eva dharuvaM pApaM guru bhuktama ivòdare ॥ 1-75-2 ॥'"O king," he said, "sinful acts do not yield fruit immediately like the Earth does. Instead, they gradually and secretly erode their perpetrators. Such consequences manifest within oneself, one's offspring, or future generations. Sins inevitably reap their consequences, akin to rich food that can never be fully digested."' ॥ 1-75-2 ॥

This is cakri-karma.
