    मेढ्यां गोचक्रवत्स्थास्नु परस्तात्कल्पवासिनाम् । धर्मोऽग्निः कश्यपः शुक्रो मुनयो ये वनौकसः । चरन्ति दक्षिणीकृत्य भ्रमन्तो यत्सतारकाः ॥ ४-९-२१ ॥meDhyAM gocakravatsthAsnu parastAtkalpavAsinAm । dharmo'gniH kazyapaH zukro munayo ye vanaukasaH । caranti dakSiNIkRtya bhramanto yatsatArakAH ॥ 4-9-21 ॥Just as bulls tread around a central pole for the purpose of crushing grains. Keeping the polestar to their right, all the stars inhabited by the great sages like Dharma, Agni, Kaśyapa and Śukra circumambulate this planet, which continues to exist even after the dissolution of all others.॥ 4-9-21 ॥

    तिर्यङ्नगद्विजसरीसृपदेवदैत्यमर्त्यादिभिः परिचितं सदसद्विशेषम् । रूपं स्थविष्ठमज ते महदाद्यनेकं नातः परं परम वेद्मि न यत्र वादः ॥ ४-९-१३ ॥tiryaGnagadvijasarIsRpadevadaityamartyAdibhiH paricitaM sadasadvizeSam । rUpaM sthaviSThamaja te mahadAdyanekaM nAtaH paraM parama vedmi na yatra vAdaH ॥ 4-9-13 ॥My dear Lord, O Supreme Unborn, I know that the different varieties of living entities, such as animals, trees, birds, reptiles, demigods and human beings, are spread throughout the universe, which is caused by the total material energy, and I know that they are sometimes manifest and sometimes unmanifest; but I have never experienced the supreme form I behold as I see You now. Now all kinds of methods of theorizing have come to an end. ॥ 4-9-13 ॥

    या निर्वृतिस्तनुभृतां तव पादपद्मध्यानाद्भवज्जनकथाश्रवणेन वा स्यात् । सा ब्रह्मणि स्वमहिमन्यपि नाथ मा भूत् किं त्वन्तकासिलुलितात्पततां विमानात् ॥ ४-९-१० ॥yA nirvRtistanubhRtAM tava pAdapadmadhyAnAdbhavajjanakathAzravaNena vA syAt । sA brahmaNi svamahimanyapi nAtha mA bhUt kiM tvantakAsilulitAtpatatAM vimAnAt ॥ 4-9-10 ॥My Lord, the transcendental bliss derived from meditating upon Your lotus feet or hearing about Your glories from pure devotees is so unlimited that it is far beyond the stage of brahmānanda, wherein one thinks himself merged in the impersonal Brahman as one with the Supreme. Since brahmānanda is also defeated by the transcendental bliss derived from devotional service, then what to speak of the temporary blissfulness of elevating oneself to the heavenly planets, which is ended by the separating sword of time? Although one may be elevated to the heavenly planets, he falls down in due course of time. ॥ 4-9-10 ॥

    स तेषां यातुधानानां मध्ये रथगतः खरः । बभूव मध्ये ताराणां लोहिताङ्ग इवोदितः ॥ ३-२५-५sa teSAM yAtudhAnAnAM madhye rathagataH kharaH । babhUva madhye tArANAM lohitAGga ivoditaH ॥ 3-25-5Seated on a chariot in the midst of the demons, Khara looked like the rising Mars in the middle of the stars. ॥ 3-25-5॥

    तं तु निष्पतितं दृष्ट्वा सर्वे ते रजनीचराः । नर्दमाना महानादं सचिवाः पर्यवारयन् ॥ ३-२५-४sa kharasyAjJayA sUtasturagAn samacodayat । yatra rAmo mahAbAhureko cunvansthito dhanuH ॥ 3-25-3Seeing Khara attacking (Rama) all the demon ministers surrounded him roaring. ॥ 3-25-4॥

    स तं विवक्षन्तमतद्विदं हरिः ज्ञात्वास्य सर्वस्य च हृद्यवस्थितः । कृताञ्जलिं ब्रह्ममयेन कम्बुना पस्पर्श बालं कृपया कपोले ॥ ४-९-४ ॥sa taM vivakSantamatadvidaM hariH jJAtvAsya sarvasya ca hRdyavasthitaH । kRtAJjaliM brahmamayena kambunA pasparza bAlaM kRpayA kapole ॥ 4-9-4 ॥Although Dhruva Mahārāja was a small boy, he wanted to offer prayers to the Supreme Personality of Godhead in suitable language. But because he was inexperienced, he could not adjust himself immediately. The Supreme Personality of Godhead, being situated in everyone’s heart, could understand Dhruva Mahārāja’s awkward position. Out of His causeless mercy He touched His conchshell to the forehead of Dhruva Mahārāja, who stood before Him with folded hands. ॥ 4-9-4 ॥

    स खरस्याज्ञया सूतस्तुरगान् समचोदयत् । यत्र रामो महाबाहुरेको चुन्वन्स्थितो धनुः ॥ ३-२५-३sa kharasyAjJayA sUtasturagAn samacodayat । yatra rAmo mahAbAhureko cunvansthito dhanuH ॥ 3-25-3Commanded by Khara, the charioteer also urged the horses towards the mightyarmed Rama standing alone and wielding the bow. ॥ 3-25-3॥

    रामः क्रोधं परं भेजे वधार्थं सर्वरक्षसाम् । ततः क्रोधसमाविष्टः प्रदीप्त इव तेजसा ॥ ३-२६-५rAmaH krodhaM paraM bheje vadhArthaM sarvarakSasAm । tataH krodhasamAviSTaH pradIpta iva tejasA ॥ 3-26-5- and then Rama evoked an inordinate infuriation for eliminating all of the demons. Overpowered by anger, He ( Rama ), with a blazing glow - ॥ 3-26-5॥
