Whomsoever, I see tomorrow will get transformed into a mountain for many thousands of years' ॥ 4-11-58॥

( If the monkeys stay back ) They will destroy the leaves and shoots and plunder the fruits and roots of this forest. ॥ 4-11-57॥

( on hearing ) Let them depart safely. If they stay back, will also certainly invite my curse. ॥ 4-11-56॥

Indeed his counsellors who have taken refuge in my forest - ॥ 4-11-55॥

    सम्भग्नाः पादपाश्चैमेक्षिपतेहासुरीं तनुम् । समन्तादाद्योजनं पूर्णमाश्रमं मामकं यदि ॥ ४-११-५४sambhagnAH pAdapAzcaimekSipatehAsurIM tanum । samantAdAdyojanaM pUrNamAzramaM mAmakaM yadi ॥ 4-11-54'Whoever has broken the trees all over this forest and has thrown the demon's body, if, within a radius of one yojana of my hermitage - ॥ 4-11-54॥

    इह तेनाप्रवेष्टव्यं प्रविष्टस्य वधो भवेत् । वनं मत्संश्रयं येन दूषितं रुधिरस्रवैः ॥ ४-११-५३iha tenApraveSTavyaM praviSTasya vadho bhavet । vanaM matsaMzrayaM yena dUSitaM rudhirasravaiH ॥ 4-11-53'Whoever has desecrated this forest, protected by me, with drops of blood is forbidden to enter this place. Once he does it, he will die. ॥ 4-11-53॥

    स तु विज्ञाय तपसा वानरेण कृतं हि तत् । उत्ससर्ज महाशापं क्षेप्तारं वालिनं प्रति ॥ ४-११-५२sa tu vijJAya tapasA vAnareNa kRtaM hi tat । utsasarja mahAzApaM kSeptAraM vAlinaM prati ॥ 4-11-52'Having known through his ascetic vision that it was the act of a monkey, he pronounced a curse on Vali who had hurled ( the body ) ॥ 4-11-52॥
